Smakeriet is a completely new restaurant and bar concept with a focus on quality at all levels. We use local ingredients and suppliers, and prepare the food in our JOSPER grill. Meat, seafood and seasonal vegetables are combined with beautiful accessories and exciting wines from around the world.

Good atmosphere, rich taste experiences, fresh and local ingredients and the charcoal grill as the heart of the kitchen. This is Smakeriet Beefbar Geilo. Restaurant originates from Bekkjarvik in Austevoll. A very well known and highly recommended restaurant.
You will find Smakeriet with easy access along side main road 7 between Bergen and Oslo, just after the roundabout. Smakeriet Geilo is located in the same building as Highland Lodge. Good parking place outside and close by the lovely center of Geilo with shopping possibilities.
