Horse-drawn sleigh ride

Information: 

Christmas 2025: From 20-30th December, we will only do the Exclusive tour.

Duration: Roundtrip for approximately 45 minutes  

Price includes: Relaxing sleigh ride. Price is valid for 1-5 persons, NOK 4000. 6-10 persons, NOK 6000kr.

Age limit: Suitable for all ages. 

Bring: Warm clothing, recommend bringing a hat and gloves. You will be tucked in with warm blankets and furs in the sleigh. 

Meeting place: Stølsvegen 15, Geilo Hestesenter. Please meet 10 minutes before departure.  

Order deadline: 1 day before at 15:00.

Experience Geilo with the sound of bells and steaming horses – let everyday life whiz by, breath the fresh air and cuddle under warm blankets and furs in winter wonderland. 

A pleasant change during your Geilo stay that is suitable for everyone, both family and friends, young and old. The tour goes from Geilo Hestesenter, down to Geilo Cultural Church and along the river. 

The trip is run in Austrian sledges, these have 3 benches with seating for 3 adults per bench. Geilo Hestesenter has two sledges with a totalt of 18 seats. . The sleighs are independent of snow conditions as they have wheels that can be lowered if needed. 

Want a private experience? Its possible to book and reserve the entire sled, with pick-up/delivery at a private address/hotel in central Geilo.
