Geilo Mountain Lodge
With its history dating back to 1917, a stay in this beautiful house is a very special experience. Here are beautiful living rooms and bedrooms with delicately decorated bathrooms. After a day in the mountains, you can sink into a deep sofa, with something good in the glass from the house's wine cellar, and look out over the National Park Village. From the kitchen, men's meals are served based on ingredients found up here in the mountains, at the very top of Hallingdal.
Geilo Mountain Lodge has 8 rooms divided into suites and double rooms, all beautifully furnished with quality beds from Dux and Jensen, and hand-stitched bedspreads and curtains. Here, body and soul get a well-deserved rest after a long day out in the mountains, or some strenuous sessions around the conference table. All bathrooms have sunken travertine slab basins or freestanding English porcelain basins and with English style taps.
