Public transportation Train: From Bergen, you can take the scenic Bergen railway to Geilo. From Oslo, there are several daily train departures for Geilo. Check out www.vy.no/en for prices and timetables. If you want to order taxi from the train station please call +47 32 09 10 00. Bus: Express and local buses pass through the area. More information www.entur.no/en Car: From Oslo you can drive RV 7 through Hallingdalen (219 km), or drive E134 to Kongsberg and from there take FV40 through Numedal (241 km). From Bergen RV7 along the Hardanger Fjord and Hardangervidda is a national tourist road (239 km).
